Carryduff lies on the outskirts of Belfast on a busy southern approach.
This project was to provide a master plan for the area in response to the BMAP proposals that were to leave most of the land unzoned. Working with a team of expert professionals a case for the expansion of the “village” was put together.
Proposals include the construction of 1250 new homes including a mix of family houses, apartments, and affordable housing, community centre, complete regeneration and extension of the existing retail hub, construction of a bypass and an enterprise zone.
A large expanse of open landscape will be provided as a public park. Proposals were presented as an objection at the BMAP Public Enquiry. |
